Job Description

The Senior Engineering Planner will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing project schedules to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality project delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and manage complex and multiple project schedules.
  2. Monitor and track project progress using planning software such as Primavera P6.
  3. Analyze project risks, prepare detailed planning reports, and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
  4. Create and maintain the master project schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), variances, and baseline schedules.
  5. Track actual progress against planned schedules, identify variations, and forecast completion dates.
  6. Produce progress reports, S-curves, cash flow projections, forecasts, and critical path analysis (CPA) for internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, support claims and dispute resolution through data analysis (EOT), and delay analysis.
  8. Liaise with the Project Managers, site teams, clients, and vendors to obtain updates and ensure alignments.
  9. Train, mentor, and support Junior Planning Engineers.

 

Profile Requirements

 

Experience: Minimum of 8 years’ experience in planning/scheduling within construction or engineering projects.

 

Education: Minimum of a Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

 

Certification: PMP certification is most preferred.
